This dataset comprises population and GDP (disaggregated by industry and total) statistical data for coastal counties, districts and cities under the jurisdiction of coastal provinces from 2000 to 2015, with data for the Taiwan region excluded. Specifically, for the years 2005, 2010 and 2015, the data coverage covers all coastal provinces (excluding the Taiwan region); for all other years, the data scope is limited to coastal prefecture-level cities (excluding the Taiwan region).
