Labour Migration in Uncertain Times: Migration from Spain to Norway, 2014
收藏资源简介:
This project aimed to further our understanding of migration between two countries that were differentially affected by the current European economic crisis, and Spanish migrants experiences with Norwegian society and working life in the wake of the eurocrisis. History has shown that economic crises play an important part in workers' decisions to migrate, but the issue of cause is much more complex. The results from this study indicated that Spanish migrants left Spain not only because of an unemployment crisis but also because of a political crisis. In addition to a possibility to more favorable conditions on the Norwegian labour market, reasons for leaving and for not returning were ascribed to politics and conditions on the labor market in Spain.
