资源简介:
The study involved the characterization of local fairs and the recording of price indices for selected products, comparing them with prices observed in conventional fairs or markets in each locality. The fair-characterization form was designed to gather detailed information on each fair’s layout, organizational structure, number and type of stands, communication channels used to reach consumers, institutional participation, educational outreach materials, available payment methods, the presence or absence of different certification or consumer-assurance mechanisms, decision-making modalities (governance), and the overall profile of vendors as producers and suppliers. This instrument was administered to individuals directly involved in organizing each fair and those knowledgeable about its history and operational characteristics. Local representatives and technicians from IDMA and ANPE fulfilled this role and completed the forms either in print or in digital Word format. In addition, through the systematic recording of product sales prices, information was collected on the prices of a selected group of index products across 12 fairs. For these same products, corresponding prices were also documented in the conventional fairs or markets of the same locality or district. Price-recording formats were printed, and data collection was carried out by trained personnel from the local IDMA and ANPE.
