OPENIACS Project — Integrated System of Agricultural Parcelles (LPIS) 2018 — Italy

The Open LOD platform based on HPC capabilities for Integrated Administration and Control System of Common Agrarian Policy (Open IACS), funded by the European Commission through the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA), was launched in September 2019 for a duration of 36 months. Five European countries participated in the project: Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland and Spain; for Italy, CREA, AGEA, ENEA and ISPRA participated. Open IACS is a technological project focused on the use/reuse of data of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) relating to the 2014-2020 programming cycle whose objective was the experimentation of ICT solutions, such as Linked Open data, for the access and exchange of data of Integrated Management and Control Systems (IACS) as well as environmental datasets. The layer “OPENIACS Project — Integrated System of Agricultural Parcelles (LPIS) 2018” represents the delimitation and classification in 2018 of all agricultural and non-agricultural plots, regardless of the cadastral boundaries and the territorial consistency of the holdings registered in the register of SIAN.
