LINGUISTOCULTURAL AND SEMANTIC FEATURES OF PHRASEOLOGISMS WITH CLOTHING COMPONENTS IN THE UZBEK LANGUAGE

This thesis analyzes the linguocultural and semantic features of phraseological units containing clothing components in the Uzbek language. Phraseologisms connected with clothing items reflect the Uzbek people’s worldview, traditions, customs, national mentality, and cultural values. The study examines the semantic structure, figurative meaning, and cultural significance of such phraseological units through linguistic analysis and illustrative examples. The thesis also highlights how clothing-related phraseologisms preserve historical and ethnocultural information within the Uzbek language.
