Wind Data Measurement in Geba Catchment, Tigray, North Ethiopia

Wind energy data is essential for assessment of a potential in a given region. The highlands of the Tigray Region in North Ethiopia have landscapes with potential for wind energy development. Ground based wind mast measurements are vital for planning wind energy developments. This dataset consists of wind measurements at three sites in Geba catchment: Dera, Hagerselam and Mayderhu.
