Gut microbial communities of the Bradysia odoriphaga at different development stages and with different diets

Bradysia odoriphaga is an insect pest that threatens production of Chinese chive. Same as other insects, a wide variety of microorganisms exist in the gut of B. odoriphaga. The gut microbial community associated with this pest is of interest for potential biotechnological applications in development of pest-control measures. Here, we comprehensively investigated midgut microbiota of B.odoriphaga at different development stages and with different diets.
