Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance (g11_08_Zepim)

It contains information about the location of the natural areas with this classification existing in Andalusia. The Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance (SPAMI) are unique marine and coastal areas declared under the Barcelona Convention that guarantee the survival of the biological values and resources of the Mediterranean by incorporating the most representative Mediterranean habitats and the best conserved areas. They complement the rest of the protected natural areas, focusing on the protection of areas of true Mediterranean regional importance, and are therefore under international protection.
