Capture-recapture models fitted to the capture histories of all juvenile and adult dolphins combined estimate parameters for population size (N), apparent survival (φ), temporary emigration (γ'', γ') and capture probability (p).

Capture probability was allowed to vary with time between primary sampling periods and capture and recapture probability were assumed equal. Akaike information criterion corrected for small sample size (AICc) and was used to determine the best fitting model (in bold below).
