This study examines these challenges in detail and proposes potential solutions through a student-centered perspective, emphasizing strategies that prioritize learner needs, preferences, and active participation. By integrating active learning methods, enhancing student–teacher and peer interactions, providing professional development for educators, and supporting learners’ self-regulation and motivation, institutions can create more effective and inclusive online learning environments. Drawing upon recent empirical studies, meta-analyses, and best practices in educational technology, this article highlights the importance of aligning instructional design with student-centered principles to overcome organizational obstacles.
