The dataset contains data from samples collected n December 2022 in South-Western Black Sea withing Turkish EEZ. Samples were collected with 12 l Niskin bottles and preserved with glutaraldehyde. Hydro-Bıos settling chambers of 25 ml total volume were used to analyse samples under an inverted phase contrast microscope. Phytoplankton samples were analyzed both from quantitative (density) and qualitative (list of species) point of view. The data file is in OBIS format.
