Renewable CyL: Excluding Photovoltaics

Indicative mapping of the land on which renewable energy plant projects and their ancillary infrastructures would not be authorised in accordance with Article 13 of the “Decree-Law 2/2022 of 23 June 22 adopting urgent measures to speed up the management of European funds and boosting economic activity” (BOCYL 24.6.2022).

All the criteria of Article 13 of DL 2/2022 have been taken into account, with the exception of other public service facilities located on rustic soil, the condition of which must be analysed in particular in each case.

For the delimitation of the PV exclusion zone, the following criteria have been taken into account:

Network of Protected Natural Areas, except in listed mountains of public utility that support authorised agricultural uses
Critical areas of protected species with conservation or recovery plan
Wooded mountains
Distance less than 500 meters from an asset of cultural interest
Distance to less than 500 meters from urban centres
Distance to less than 500 schools, health centres and health partners located on rustic land
Irrigated areas
