Exosomal microRNA sequencing in Nicorandil pretreated and non-treated mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes

To investigate the specific miRNA conducting the cardioprotective effect of Nicorandil pretreated MSC-derived exosomes (MSCNIC-Exo) in cardiac repair, we performed microRNA sequencing on exosomes secreted from nicorandil pretreated MSCs and non-treated MSCs to identify differentially expressed miRNA. MSCNIC-Exo was isolated from conditioned medium of MSCs pretreated by 200uM of nicorandil for 24 hours. Three isolated samples for each group(MSCNIC-exo and MSC-exo) were collected and RNA isolated from exosomes were analyzed using Illumina HiSeqTM 2500 platform.
