Study of the flood zone of the Diege (2009) in Corrèze.

Mapping of flooding areas of the Diege in the crossing of Ussel in Corrèze Municipalities of Saint-Pardoux-le-Vieux, Chaveroche, Ussel, Mestes, Saint-Exupéry-les-Roches Tables of flooded areas according to their frequency (preferential flow zone — raw return 5 to 15 years- and maximum flooding zone by hydrogeomorphology — exceptional raw-) estimated in relation to the valley morphology for the river La Diège. Tables of hazards, water heights and flow velocities obtained by hydraulic modelling (Hac-Ras model) for the section crossing the urban area of Ussel (low, medium and high speeds; water heights < 0.5 m, between 0.5 m and 1 m and > 1 m; low, medium and strong hazard (cerema 2009 study) 1/10000 for the hydrogeomorphological approach and 1/5000 for the hydraulic approach.
