DEMNA-DNE : Wild mammals in Wallonia

'DEMNA-DNE : Wild mammals in Wallonia' is a presence-only occurrence dataset maintained by the Département d'Etude du Milieu Naturel et Agricole (SPW-DGARNE-DEMNA). It contains validated mammal records from the department encoding system (Observatoire Faune Flore Habitats -OFFH - https://observatoire.biodiversite.wallonie.be/encodage/).Bats are excluded from this dataset, as are non-native mammals observations, that are published through other dedicated datasets :-DEMNA-DNE : Exotic animal occurrences in Wallonia, Belgium - https://doi.org/10.15468/bcuhep -DEMNA-DNE : Early warning system on Introduced Species in Wallonia - https://doi.org/10.15468/dc2dygSensitive species or confidential observations are made available with a reduced accuracy (4 km x 4 km IFBL ; 10km x10km for Lutra lutra). Thus the georeferencing should mostly rely on the DwC term 'footPrintWKT' for a detailled cartography of the dataset as it contains both point and polygon verbatim positioning.Returns on the dataset are more than welcome.
