DATASET of the paper: "FTIR Analysis of Experimental Adhesives: Investigating Spectral Reproducibility, Chemometric Approaches, and Archaeological Applications"

This repository contains the datasets associated with the paper “FTIR Analysis of Experimental Adhesives: Investigating Spectral Reproducibility, Chemometric Approaches, and Archaeological Applications.” It includes FTIR spectra from Experiment 91 generated on two instruments (KBr/LN-MCT-B and ZnSe/TE-MCT-A) with both raw and processed data, as well as additional raw and processed spectra from the ZnSe/TE-MCT-A instrument collected for an orientation test. It also contains FTIR spectra from Experiment 121 generated on ZnSe/TE-MCT-A, which serve as a validation dataset for chemometric modeling. Measurement units for the associated spectral files are in Absorbance Units (arbitrary measurement, y-axis) and wavenumbers (x-axis). All FTIR spectra are provided in CSV format, and a single metadata file is included for the statistical comparability tests performed in R. The associated R scripts used for data processing and analysis are available both on GitHub and in this repository as .R files. Chemometric modeling files used to develop and validate classification models are also provided as MATLAB files.
