This dataset is an improved variant of the KDD CUP 99 dataset, which retains unique data points while reducing redundant information. Furthermore, by downsampling certain categories, it addresses the class imbalance problem identified in the original KDD-99 dataset. Compared with the KDD-99 dataset, this one contains fewer total data points, yet all of the data points are unique. The core task of this dataset is network traffic anomaly detection.
