The pestalotiopsis-like taxa, complete with Pseudopestalotiopsis, Pestalotiopsis, Neopestalotiopsis, is a well-known fungal family. The Neopestalotiopsis species have recently been identified as plant pathogens on crops and fruits. There is still a lack of high-quality reference genome of Neopestalotiopsis spp. in germplasm resource evaluation research. The genome sequence data offer a better understanding of the lifestyle strategy and pathogenesis of Neopestalotiopsis species. Our study significantly enriches the species richness of Neopestalotiopsis spp. and provides a basis for follow-up studies.
