Manuscript supplementary dataset: Hemodynamics Indicates Differences Between Patients With And Without A Stroke Outcome After Left Ventricular Assist Device Implantation

In this study, we conducted an in silico analysis in a set of 12 patients on LVAD support. The patient group was equally split into two sets: one that experienced a stroke post-implantation, and one that did not. We generated a pre-implantation flow estimate, and a post-implantation flow estimate for each patient, using computational fluid dynamics. We characterized hemodynamics using quantitative metrics for helical flow, vortex generation, and wall shear stress. This dataset contains the numerical data, and associated animations for the flow.
