UAS- and field-derived geospatial dataset on fertile island patterns in Argania spinosa forests (Morocco)

This dataset contains high-resolution geospatial data on the distribution patterns of fertile islands within dryland ecosystems dominated by Argania spinosa in southern Morocco. The data were obtained from imagery captured by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and field observations. The dataset supports the manuscript "Fertile islands from above: Utilizing UAS imagery to map argan forest patches in a UNESCO biosphere reserve in Morocco".
