Controls carried out by the CNIL

To verify compliance with the Data Protection Act (and the GDPR since 25 May 2018), the CNIL has the option of <a href="http://www.cnil.fr/linstitution/missions/controler/" target="_blank">controlling files</a> recording personal data.

This control may be exercised:

- **on site** (on the premises of the person responsible for the file);

- **on convocation** (on CNIL premises);

- **on documents** (request for documents);

- and, since 2014, **online** (website monitoring).

Eight datasets are published:

1. number and types of checks carried out each year since 1990 (csv and xls);

2. lists of checks carried out, by year, from 2014 to 2022 (csv and xls).

为验证合规性以符合《数据保护法》及2018年5月25日起施行的《通用数据保护条例（General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR）》，法国国家信息与自由委员会（CNIL）可对记录个人数据的文件开展<a href="http://www.cnil.fr/linstitution/missions/controler/" target="_blank">监管核查</a>。

该监管核查可通过以下方式实施：
- **现场核查**：至数据负责人的办公场所开展核查；
- **传唤核查**：在CNIL办公场所开展核查；
- **文件核查**：要求提供相关文件；
- 自2014年起新增**线上核查**：开展网站监测。

本次共发布八个数据集：
1. 1990年以来各年度开展的核查数量与核查类型（提供CSV及XLS格式文件）；
2. 2014年至2022年各年度已开展的核查清单（提供CSV及XLS格式文件）。
