Dataset of "Mutation in Smek2 regulating hepatic glucose metabolism causes hypersarcosinemia and hyperhomocysteinemia in rats"

We fed ExHC rats and Congenic (ExHC.BN-Dihc2BN) rats on two diets (0%- or 2%-cholesterol semi-purified AIN76-based diet) for 2 weeks. We measured the parameters related to homocysteine and lipid metabolism in the obtained samples. This data set includes raw data of hepatic microarray analysis with ExHC and Congenic rats. Additionally, we measured Smek2 and Sardh mRNA in rat hepatic cell line (MCA-RH7777) under Smek2 knock-down condition.
