Strategic Management Plan 2021-2031

The Strategic Management Plan contains longer-term objectives for national park management. The achievement of these goals means a qualitative development of the Gesäuse National Park in accordance with its legal mandate. Working out the ways to achieve goals is a task for the National Park Administration in the coming years. This document complements the technical plans that have been drawn up so far and no longer addresses the objectives outlined therein in detail. The present objectives are formulated in such a way that they can be achieved realistically within the next ten years. Where implementation is within reach, a period of five years has been set. Some goals are to be implemented only with partners from the region or nature conservation and are not directly responsible for the national park administration.
