Product groups Budget 2018

The city of Bern takes its account according to the principles of “New Public Management”. In Switzerland, the term “effective administrative management” stands for this: the management is measured by its impact. I.e. invoice and budget are created primarily by product groups. This will increase the transparency of administrative activities. For each product and service, it is determined as precisely as possible how much for which tasks and services should be spent and how much is to be taken up. The budget of the income statement is binding. In the invoice are compared to actual and intended.
