A wild fire started the 4 June 2022 at the foothills of Mount Hymettus in the southern Athens suburb of Ano Glyfada. Residents were evacuated from several areas in the suburb of Ano Voula and Vari and some twenty residential homes are reported to have been damaged by the flames. Copernicus EMS Mapping products will be used for damage assessment in infrastructure, houses and buildings and for recovery and restoration planning of the affected area.<br>
