Clostridium difficile 6534. Clostridium difficile strains showing large degree of genome variation, based on microarray comparative genome hybridizations of 80 isolates from different hosts and geographical areas, were selected for shotgun sequencing. Strain 6534 is a bovine isolate and will be used for comparative sequence analysis.
