Klebsiella pneumoniae is an opportunistic pathogen that frequently causes nosocomial and community acquired infections. Here we report the complete genome of Klebsiella pneumoniae YBQ, a clinical strain isolated from the sputum of an elder pneumonia patient with acute and severe Klebsiella pneumoniae infection.The complete genome consists of a 5,119,471 bp circular chromosome and a 184,347 bp circular plasmid. Genome annotation predicts 5028 CDSs, along with 84 tRNAs,25 rRNAs, and 47 sRNAs.
