Ruditapes philippinarum conglutination mud (RPM) has been recently reported as a natural high-efficient bioflocculant with a speculation of inherent consortium of microbes as actual producer. This study investigated the biomimetic preparation for RPM bioflocculant by microbial fermentation approach, characterized the product through and evaluated its application in wastewater treatment.
