Laboratory and field datasets on grapevine cultivar susceptibility to flavescence dorée in Switzerland

This dataset contains the data used to assess grapevine cultivar susceptibility to flavescence dorée under controlled laboratory and field conditions in Switzerland. Each CSV file corresponds to a distinct experiment or field analysis conducted as part of the study. The laboratory datasets originate from controlled transmission experiments in which grapevine cultivars were exposed to potentially infectious Scaphoideus titanus. They include data used to evaluate plant infection probability, Flavescence dorée phytoplasma (FDp) relative titre, the distribution of the phytoplasma in the plant and insect mortality. The field datasets originate from annual flavescence dorée surveillance conducted in the Swiss cantons of Vaud and Valais between 2015 and 2025. They include data used to compare disease incidence among grapevine cultivars at multiple spatial scales, as well as FDp relative titre measurements from naturally infected grapevines.
