Supplementary code for: "From Physical Parameters to Social Evidence: Empirical Calibration of an Impact-Based Coastal Warning System Using Volunteer-Contributed Geographic Information and ERA5 Reanalysis Data in Maricá, RJ, Brazil"
收藏资源简介:
Python notebook (Google Colab) containing the complete analytical pipeline for the IBFWS-Maricá study. The code reproduces all tables, figures, and statistical results presented in the manuscript, including: DHN tide table parsing and NR-to-MSL conversion; ERA5 reanalysis processing (MSLP, wind); wave energy flux calculation using the finite-depth formulation for irregular waves (Eq. 2: P = ρg/16 × Hs² × Cg, d = 51 m; Liang et al. 2017); Total Water Level (TWL) computation (inverse barometer + wind set-up); Open-Meteo Marine vs ERA5 validation (n = 35,040 hours); three-approach threshold calibration (extreme event validation, intermediate calibration, sensitivity analysis); empirical ROC curve and P15 threshold selection; IBFWS index performance evaluation (contingency matrix, POD, FAR, CSI with Clopper-Pearson 95% CIs); split-sample temporal validation (Wilks 2011); and VGI report processing with finite-depth energy recalculation. Requires Google Colab with Google Drive access. File paths must be adjusted to local directory structure.
