Characterisation of onion (Allium cepa) landraces under organic management in Geneva, Switzerland (2023)

This dataset contains trial data from the characterisation of onion (Allium cepa) landraces evaluated under organic management in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2023. The trials were led by ProSpecieRara as part of the Horizon Europe LiveSeeding project (T1.1 Dynamic Management of Plant Genetic Resources). The dataset comprises three Excel files: DS3. ONION_PSR_2023_1, covering the characterisation of the landrace ‘Rouge de Genève’ at Les Jardins de Cocagne; DS4. ONION_PSR_2023_2, covering the characterisation of ‘Jaune de Savoie’ at Ferme du Monniati; and DS5. ONION_PSR_2023_3, covering the characterisation of ‘Jaune de Savoie’ at Les Jardins de Cocagne. The datasets are maintained separately by variety to support individual variety characterisation. Although seven varieties were included in the field trial, detailed characterisation data were collected specifically for the target varieties, while the other varieties were included mainly for comparison.
