Digital Field Model (MNT) LIDAR – Lawa River (Grand-Santi)

The Office de l’Eau de Guyana has undertaken an approach of knowing the potential of small hydroelectricity for the electrification of isolated sites. In order to identify and characterise exploitable sites near settlement sites, ALTOA was commissioned to acquire topographical coverages by LIDAR method in about thirty sectors. The data produced are a set of numerical models of watercourse terrain, elevation and surface. This NTM covers part of the Lawa River, at the right of Grand-Santi (Grand-Santi/Papaïchton).
