Cybercrime Case Dataset: 29 Individual Cases and 48 Pairwise Comparisons (2010–2025)

This dataset contains 29 individual cybercrime cases collected from publicly available newspaper articles and online portals between 2010 and 2025.From these cases, 48 annotated pairwise comparisons were constructed to evaluate semantic similarity approaches in the context of Large Language Models (LLMs), STIX (Structured Threat Information Expression), and Case-Based Reasoning (CBR).The dataset includes structured metadata (actors, methods, affected domains, summaries, and concise descriptions) but does not contain any full-text articles. Original case reports were publicly accessible at the time of collection.All copyrights and rights of use remain with the respective publishers and portals; this dataset only provides structured representations and short descriptions for research purposes.The dataset is released under a CC-BY 4.0 license to ensure reusability and reproducibility for the research community.
