Upper crust shear velocity model of northern LA basin area

This model represents the shear‑wave velocity structure beneath the SB1 array of the BASIN project down to 10 km depth. Vertical and horizontal resolutions are 0.2 km. The model was obtained by inverting ambient noise Love wave data recorded by the SB1 array using the ambient noise differential adjoint tomography method. The resulting model has high resolution and correlates well with known geological units.
