The God Vishnu, Preserver of the Universe, circa 1100, India, The National museum of Denmark (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta (now ReMake) from AutoDesk.
The stone sculpture next to the showcase shows Vishnu resting on top of Sesha the snake. With serenity he awaits the recreation of the world which is temporarily destroyed. The sculpture is from South India, c. 1100. Exhibited in the showcase is among other things Vishnu´s mount Garuda, half man, half eagle. The small figures in the bottom show some of the incarnations he took on in order to restore justice on earth.
