Substantial evidence has indicated the important role for the commensal gut microbiota in enteric viruses' infection and pathogenesis. A total of 12 fecal samples were collected from the jejunum and colon of both control and died piglets at 24 hours post porcine rotavirus infection for 16S rRNA sequencing and microbiota analysis.
