MMAD Dataset

Academic data processing is crucial in scientometrics and bibliometrics, such as research trending analysis and citation

recommendation. Existing datasets in this domain have predominantly concentrated on textual data, overlooking the importance

of visual elements. To bridge this gap, we introduce a comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and multimodal dataset tailored for

academic data processing, named MMAD. This dataset encompasses over 1.1 million peer-reviewed scholarly articles,

enhanced with metadata and visuals that are aligned with the text. MMAD can be used to accomplish numerous downstream tasks in a wide range of fields.

Due to the substantial memory requirements of the dataset, we have provisionally uploaded a subset consisting of two thousand samples to the cloud. If you require additional MMAD data, please visit the dropbox link.
