MicroRNAs play fundamental roles in the development of various cancers. In this study, we investigated the miRNA profiles of choriocarcinoma (CC) and complete hydatidiform mole (CHM) samples. Overall design: To investigate the miRNA profiles of trophoblastic diseases, we extracted RNA from 11 FFPE samples of choriocarcinoma from nine patients using laser capture microdissection. Moreover, 5 FFPE samples of CHM were used as control. Then, small RNA sequencing was performed.
