Pan Trap

Pans were provided in the following colours yellow, orange, and red. The pans were placed approximately 50 cm apart in the order of yellow, orange, and red. Pans are filled half-way with soapy water to capture insects categorised into taxonomic groups. The number of insect captured in the pan over a period of time and number of different taxonomic group in a given pan. York University Keel Campus, Grassland- Start time 2:50pm, End time 4:50pm.
