Expenditure on Social Protection in the Basque Country by group of systems and year (thousands of euros).

The operation Social Protection Account aims to calculate the expenditure and income of social protection systems, carried out in the Basque Country by any public or private body, distributed in four large groups: the Social Security System, the State Public Employment Service, civil servant schemes and other systems with social protection functions, and follows the methodological principles of the European System of Integrated Social Protection Accounts. The elaboration of the main macromagnitudes of the sector allows us to analyse their impact on the economy of the Basque Country and its international comparison.
