During the afternoon and early evening hours of May 2, 1983, there was an outbreak of severe weather across. Ohio. Seven tornadoes were confirmed across northern Ohio. This technical note is a comparison of the summary of key parameters for the occurrence of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes originated by Miller (Table 1) versus computed parameters for several RAOB sites around Ohio.
