Support for the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) among adults in the United States has increased over time, with 63 percent of those surveyed in 2018 believing NAFTA has been good for the U.S. economy. This compares to 43 percent of respondents in 2004.On July 1, 2020, the NAFTA is due to be replaced by the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
