Fold Change

Description The archive contains one file for each of the 8 panels. It contains fold change (FC) values. The FC values were generated for each of those exposures: <strong>PT2</strong> vs <strong>PT1</strong> (hyperthermic, post-acclimation vs hyperthermic, pre-acclimation) <strong>PR2</strong> vs <strong>PR1</strong> (normothermic, post-acclimation vs normothermic, pre-acclimation) <strong>PT2</strong> vs <strong>PR2</strong> (hyperthermic, post-acclimation vs normothermic, post-acclimation) <strong>PT1</strong> vs <strong>PR1</strong> (hyperthermic, pre-acclimation vs normothermic, pre-acclimation) To generate the fold change from NPX data, the NPX were transformed from <em>log2</em> scale to linear scale. Then, for each exposure, the mean across the 10 participants were used. The FC (log2 scale) was then computed by dividing the two means and by transforming the ratio to the <em>log2</em> scale.
