In May 2024, the average expenses per dining out at snack bars, nightclubs, and cabarets in the three main metropolitan areas in Japan amounted to approximately 12.4 thousand Japanese yen. Going out in an establishment of this category was on average the most expensive, followed by going out to bars and beerhalls.
