On behalf of the then Department for Natural Resources and Energy, now the Land and Soil Protection Division, Subsoil and Natural Resources, isohypse maps were produced from the Tertiair in Flanders. On the basis of the available geological data (disconnections, drilling, seismic profiles, borehole measurements, etc.), the evolution of the base of this formation was drawn up in the form of isohypsene maps for each of the Tertiary formations in Flanders and Brussels. The report includes the prevention areas of the Tertiary formations, the fractures and the isohypes of the base of the Tertiary formations.
