The eight countries are the recipients of flows in the order of 0.7 % of the total population. Flows are significant to Austria and Sweden, while France and Italy are less affected. France is distinguished by a significant number of “returns”, i.e. French who have emigrated and returned to reside in France. Flows to Germany are mostly citizens of a Member State. On the other hand, Sweden is a recipient of many non-EU citizens.
