资源简介:
The scope and purpose of this research is to investigate the microbial community structures in field-scale and artificial-scale managed aquifer recharge systems, which actually consist of the follow through processes of surface water to underground water. The surface water leaks from surface soil or sediment through vadose soil to underground water,, which would be used as source water again. The microbial community during this process is in charge of diverse chemical degradation, thus is necessary to reveal the characteristics of their population, which would be helpful for better design of managed aquifer recharge systems. The field samples were collected from Taif River, Taif, Saudi Arabia and South Platte River, CO, USA during different seasons.
