We used microarrays to evaluate the effect of honokiol on gene expression in THP-1 and U-937 cells. Overall design: THP-1 or U-937 cells were treated with honokiol (20 µM or 35 µM) or the negative control (0.1% DMSO) for 24 hours for Total RNA isolation and hybridization on Microarray.
