Geographical grid for Germany in Lambert projection

The geographical grid of various tile sizes for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany is part of a Europe-wide uniform geographical grid according to INSPIRE specifications. It is used to present and analyse statistical facts. The grids are provided in square cell sizes of 100 m, 250 m, 500 m, 1 km, 5 km, 10 km and 100 km in the area-facing lambert projection ETRS89-LAEA (EPSG:3035). The grid cells carry attributes with the area proportions of state, land and water. In addition, the grids of resolutions 100 m and 250 m show the Official Municipality Key (AGS) of the dominating municipality.
