Dataset: Social and Spatial Organization of Dolichoderus quadripunctatus Colonies across Forest, Urban, Supercolony and Polycalic Systems

This dataset contains raw and processed data used in the study of social and spatial organization of Dolichoderus quadripunctatus colonies across forest, urban, supercolonial, and polycalic systems in Ukraine. The dataset includes: (1) Tree-level colony data (forest and urban habitats), including worker abundance, tree diameter, inter-tree distances, and presence of competing ant species.(2) Long-term monitoring data from a supercolony (2015–2025), including number of foraging trails and worker abundance per tree.(3) Data from a polycalic settlement (2015–2025), including colony expansion dynamics and spatial organization.(4) Community composition data of dominant ant species across habitats. Data were used for generalized linear models (GLM), non-parametric tests, correlation analyses, and ordination methods (CCA and NMDS) described in the associated manuscript.
